Hi! My name is Sue and I have been grooming dogs for several years.
I run The Pooch Parlour and love transforming messy mutts into classy canines! I have always loved dogs and have two naughty terriers of my own!

I am very experienced at handling dogs, having worked at Pawstretchers Doggy Daycare Centre for over a year before deciding to become a dog groomer. I trained at the prestigious Canine Design Grooming Salon in Somerset and here I learnt to groom all types of dogs to a high standard. I continue to attend seminars and training sessions on dog grooming to expand my grooming knowledge.
I offer a quality dog grooming service with an emphasis on being patient, kind and caring towards your dog, while producing a professional end result. I have a lot of experience grooming nervous dogs and do my best to put them at ease.
All dogs are groomed to the breed standard or are tailored to suit the lifestyle of your dog and your own requirements. I only groom one dog at a time, in a relaxed environment, and never rush the grooming process. All dogs in my care are taken out for short walks inbetween grooming and are given water and even the occasional treat!
I ensure all the dogs I groom leave The Pooch Parlour feeling like a million dollars and smelling simply sensational!
*Pawstretchers Directions - opposite the Alveston House Hotel, just off the A38 is a road called 'The Street' - travel down here and Pawstretchers is the 2nd entrance on the left hand side, there is a small sign on the stone wall saying 'Barnstable' - pull into the driveway here and stop before the wooden gates & ring the bell for service
